ThaiBike is Thailand's first dedicated motorbike rental marketplace. Customers — mostly international tourists — search for bikes in their city, choose a vendor, pay a deposit, and book instantly.

As a vendor, you list your bikes on our platform. We send you bookings. You meet the customer, hand over the bike, and at the end of the week we transfer your earnings to your bank account minus our 15% commission.

You keep 85% of every rental.

🇬🇧 Tips for a great listing
• Photos: Minimum 3 photos — side view, front, and dashboard. Good lighting, clean background. More photos = more bookings.

• Model year: Always accurate. Customers check. Mismatched year is the #1 cause of disputes.

• Condition: Be honest. "Minor scratches on left panel" is better than hiding it — customers leave better reviews when expectations are set correctly.

• Includes: List everything — 2 helmets, lock, USB charger, rain poncho. Extras convert bookings.

• Price: Set a competitive daily rate. Check what other vendors in your city charge.

🇬🇧 How tiered pricing works
ThaiBike uses 3-tier duration pricing. You set a different daily rate for short, medium and long rentals. This is how vendors in Thailand already work — we've just made it automatic on the platform.

Customers see the discount in search results and on the booking page — it's a powerful conversion tool for long stays.

Managing Bookings · การจัดการการจอง

🇬🇧 When you receive a booking
1. You get a WhatsApp notification instantly
2. Log into the vendor portal to see booking details
3. On the pickup date: meet the customer, check their ID and license, hand over the bike + helmet
4. Take a photo of the bike before handing it over (protects you in disputes)
5. On return: check the bike, take photos again
6. Mark booking as "Returned" in the portal
7. Your payout is processed the following Friday

Calendar & Blocking Dates · ปฏิทินและการบล็อควัน

🇬🇧 Managing availability
In the Vendor Portal, go to Calendar. Select a bike from the dropdown, then:

• Green days = available for booking
• Red days = already booked (auto-set)
• Grey days = blocked by you (maintenance, personal use, etc.)

To block a date range: select start date, select end date, click Block Selected Range. Customers cannot book these days.
🇹🇭 การจัดการความพร้อมใช้งาน
ใน Vendor Portal ไปที่ Calendar เลือกรถจากเมนูดรอปดาวน์ แล้ว:

🇬🇧 How deposits work
Customers choose one of two deposit options when booking:

Option A — Damage Waiver (฿390)
Customer pays ฿390 one-time. ThaiBike covers the first ฿8,000 of legitimate damage repairs. You do NOT hold their passport or take a cash deposit. This is our recommended option — it increases conversion significantly.

Option B — ฿3,000 Card Pre-Auth
A ฿3,000 hold is placed on the customer's credit card. Released within 7 days of return if no damage. You handle claims directly if issues arise.
